Established in 2008, Recipro provides solutions for the re-use of surplus building materials with the aim of creating a more sustainable construction industry. It is estimated that 13% of all construction materials that arrive on a building site end up as waste, with a market value of approximately £1.5billion annually.
Recipro required a creative agency to deliver their new website to help them facilitate the re-use of surplus construction materials and we were delighted that they chose us.
The responsive website helps large construction companies, smaller businesses and consumers reduce waste by re-using materials; assists local community projects to source building materials at a fraction of the cost and individuals to pass on any unwanted building materials.
Commenting on the launch of the new website, Recipro’s Marketing Manager Rebecca Owens said;
“We are so excited to be launching our new website to the industry. Waste is such a huge problem in the construction sector and we feel reuse has a big part to play in its reduction. Monitor has worked with us to create the new site, which not only looks the part, but is simple and effective to use.”
The free-to-use website provides users with full product management facilities, peer-2-peer messaging and a saved search function to automatically alert users when required materials are added to the website.
