Monitor Creative, one of Manchester’s most lively and innovative independent creative agencies, is looking for a new marketing executive and we’re keen to hear from bright, enquiring minds and engaging personalities.

You could be a recent graduate looking for your first break in marketing. Or maybe you’re ready to make a career change and marketing has held your interest for some time.

What’s most important is your attitude. You’ll make mistakes (we all do!). But we’re looking for someone who doesn’t make the same mistake twice. Someone who really listens to our clients and acts accordingly. And someone who understands that marketing is about measurable business results – not a creative ego trip.

You’ll also have well-honed social skills. Meeting new people and turning them into raving fans will be as exciting for you as delivering great work on brief, on time and on budget.

You’ll have built on your university degree or equivalent experience by learning how to manage your own time. And you’ll bring the same open, friendly and collaborative approach to our internal team as you will to your day-to-day tasks.

Here’s what this exciting role entails:

• Identify potential clients that would benefit from Monitor Creative’s marketing expertise
• Research the key people in these organisations who are responsible for the services that we provide
• Reach out to these organisations via the telephone, emails and LinkedIn to get their attention
• Start a conversation with this audience to find out more about their organisation and their marketing needs
• Keep Monitor Creative front of mind by maintaining regular contact to ensure we are the first on the list when the target organisations require marketing support
• Record all of these conversations and activities in our CRM system
• Report the success of the activity to your colleagues at Monitor Creative every month
• Assisting with other elements of our marketing, such as updating the website, sending email campaigns and updating social media channels

Here’s what’s on offer to the right candidate:

• Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 per year dependent on experience
