Adopting user-centred design

Due to the amount of different user types and objectives, it was crucial to design interfaces which deliver a fluid user journey irrespective of device. Usability testing was hugely important to understand user behaviour in order to deliver interfaces that are clear to understand and intuitive to use.

Intuitive navigation

Sector led navigation was introduced to present all available products, systems and solutions relevant to users in order to allow users to navigate to their chosen destination as soon as possible. Multiple user journeys were also implemented to allow users to navigate to the correct destination based on their individual objectives.

Flexibility and longevity

As the size of the Polypipe Group continues to increase, it was essential the website was flexible to accommodate future acquisitions, expanding product ranges and easily integrate new technologies and tools.
